WilsonWeb Databases Transfer to EBSCOhost Search Engine

Welcome to Spring 2012!

The new semester brings a new search engine for WilsonWeb databases (e.g., Humanities Full Text, Readers’ Guide Full Text Mega, and Education Full Text). EBSCO Publishing, which acquired H.W. Wilson in 2011, now provides former WilsonWeb databases through the EBSCOhost search platform.

What does this mean for you?

  • You can now search multiple EBSCOhost (e.g., Academic Search Premier) and former WilsonWeb databases simultaneously by selecting the Choose Databases link above the search box in any EBSCOhost database.
  • Database content, including subject headings and full text where available, remains the same.
  • Choose the Advanced Search link in EBSCOhost databases to view a list of the search limits (e.g., Document Type) from the former WilsonWeb databases.
  • Introduction to EBSCOhost, a video tutorial, is available online.
